Refund Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to all purchases made on Vidix, including subscription plans and credit packages.

2. Refund Window

You may request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. After this period, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

3. Eligible for Refund

  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Unused credits (subscription not yet activated)
  • Platform outages preventing service use for more than 24 hours
  • Account terminated by us without cause

4. Not Eligible for Refund

  • Credits that have been consumed for generations
  • Content successfully generated and downloaded
  • Violations of our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Requests made after the 7-day refund window
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (see Section 6)

5. Failed Generations

Automatic Credit Return: If a generation fails due to technical errors on our end, credits are automatically returned to your account within minutes.

This includes: API errors, timeout failures, and content policy rejections initiated by our moderation system before processing.

6. Quality Satisfaction

Due to the inherent uncertainty of AI-generated content, we cannot offer refunds for results that are technically successful but subjectively unsatisfactory. We recommend using free credits to test outputs before purchasing.

7. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • Unused credits remain in your account and do not expire
  • No prorated refunds for partial billing periods

8. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days via the original payment method.

10. Chargebacks

Please contact our support team before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.

11. Payment Processor
